Delete your Crackit account and data

Last updated: 11 October 2026

You can delete the account you created in the Crackit app, along with the data we hold for it, at any time.

Option 1: in the app (fastest)

  1. Open Crackit and go to the Profile tab.
  2. Tap Delete my account (shown when you are signed in).
  3. Read the confirmation and tap Delete.

The app deletes your account and online data on our servers and then signs you out and clears the Intro Coach data on your phone.

Option 2: by email

If you cannot open the app, email our support email (to be published here before launch) from the address you signed up with, with the subject “Delete my account”. We may ask you to confirm it is you. We aim to finish within 30 days.

What is deleted

  • Your sign-in account (email, name and sign-in identifier) held by our sign-in provider.
  • Your saved profile and any resume details extracted from an uploaded resume.
  • Your online interview sessions, answers, scores and feedback.
  • Your Intro Coach usage counters, plan and credit balance record.
  • On your phone: the cached Intro Coach data and your sign-in tokens.

Deleting your account does not delete the data that was only ever on your phone, such as practice progress. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage removes that.

What is kept, and why

  • Purchase and credit records may be kept for accounting, tax and dispute purposes for as long as the law requires. We remove the link to you so they no longer identify you.
  • Provider-side copies: AI providers and our hosting providers may hold transient request logs for a short period under their own policies (see the Privacy Policy).
  • Backups of our database, if any, are overwritten on the provider's normal schedule.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through Google Play or the Apple App Store. Cancel it in your store account settings so you are not charged again.

Delete data but keep the account

Email our support email (to be published here before launch) and tell us what you want removed.
